In a multi-track for horizontally sliding sashes comprising lower sash rails A and panes a' mounted therein, and each being guided by a roller runner on a track rail a, a breakwater block B of metal or plastics material is fixed in the channel between two adjacent track rails a beneath the overlap of adjacent sash rails A and holes b are provided in the track rails to drain away the water to the outer side of the window when this latter is closed.
