1,029,468. Central heating and hot water supply systems. BETEILIGUNGS - UND PATENTVERWALTUNGS GESELLSCHAFT M.B.H. Aug. 14, 1964 [Aug. 16, 1963], No. 33275/64. Heading F4A. In a combined hot water space heating and hot water supply system, water from a boiler 1 is delivered to the hot flow pipe 2 of a spaceheating system by a pump 3 which also circulates water through a heat exchange coil 10 located in a hot water supply tank 8 having inlet and outlet connections 7, 9. Water from the space-heating system returns through a pipe 4 to the boiler and to a mixing valve 6 which enables the boiler to be by-passed to control the temperature of water delivered by the pump. Valves 12, 13 are provided to control the distribution of water between the hot water tank 8 and the space-heating circuit. In a modification, Fig. 2 (not shown), water from the outlet of the heating coil 10 is delivered either to the space-heating circuit or returned through a valve 15 to the boiler.
