Abstract

100,974. Poole, A. J. Feb. 25, 1916. Draught-excluders.-A draught-excluder B for the bottoms of doors is raised by the turning of the door knob M when opening the door, and is held in a raised position by a spring R which extends when clear of a piece fixed on the rabbet of the door frame. The board B is hinged to a board A secured to the door, and carries a bracket F to which is attached a wire H connected at its other ends to arms J of a steel piece fitted on the shank of the door knob. A spring T forces the board B against the door and the floor when the door is closed.
