4412. Carnegie, R., Beevers, A., and Crowcroft, A. Feb. 23. Draught-excluders.-A draught-excluding board B, descending by gravity and raised automatically when the door is opened, is supported by arms I having a pin-and-slot connexion with a board A secured to the door. It is raised by rollers M on the arms I engaging inclines D on a sliding bar C, hinged at E and F and attached to a plate G secured to the door frame. The draught board may be held in a raised position by a peg P, which is made to pass through the board A. According to the Provisional Specification, the inclines are arranged on the underside of the sliding bar and above the rollers, which are carried by crossed bars supported on a central pivot.
