Double hinges for casement windows comprise a member 97 hinged to plates 98 on the window frame, and having a pair of horizontal arms hinged to plates 95 mounted at about the middle, of the top and bottom rails of the casement. In a modification, the hinges may comprise arms 119 pivoted to flat or angle plates 128, 129 mounted on the window frame and casement.
