Sash fasteners, pivoted-arm type.-A device for retaining the pivoted arm of a sashfastener in the shot position, of the type in which a wire loop pivoted to a plate on one sash engages over the knob of the pivoted arm, has the ends 6 of the plate 1 rolled over the ends 5 of the wire loop 4, or over the loop itself, to form a hinge for the loop. The plate 1 is held to the sash by a single screw 2 to allow movement about a vertical axis for adjustment.
