S a s h fasteners, pivoted-arm type. - The pivoted-arm 7 is held beneath the keeper 2 by a spring catch 10 mounted in a recess 11<1> in the keeper, a depending lug on the catch entering a recess 8<1> in the pivoted arm past a bevelled projection 13<1>. Pressure on the end 12 of the catch releases the lug. In a modification, the catch is mounted above a recess in )the keeper and rides over a bevelled projection to enter a recess in the pivoted arm.
