Abstract

1,009,645. Racks. MIDLAND MACHINE CORPORATION. Sept. 22, 1964, No. 38633/64. Heading A4B. A storage rack has posts 11, 12 of sheet metal connected by truss members 13 to form upright frames 10, the front corner of the posts being cut away at vertically spaced intervals to provide slots 18 to receive tongues 22 on connector brackets 19 at each end of horizontal stringers 14. In order to prevent accidental dislodgement of the stringers 14 a wedge lock device 25 Fig. 9 comprising a shank 26 with an upwardly bent flange 27 and a wedge 28 is engaged with the slots.
