A metal shelf has downturned flanges 2a, 2b with inturned flanges 3a, 3b along two opposite sides and single flanges 5c, 5d along the other sides cut away at 6a, 6b to facilitate nesting, the inturned flanges 3a, 3b also being cut away at 7a, 7b and corner slots 9 are provided, terminating a short distance below the top panel 1. Holes or slots in the flanges 2a, 2b, 5c, 5d, permit bolting to framework uprights of slotted angle. Specifications 763,045 and 823,786 are referred to.
