830,297. Shelves. LUNDQUIST, H. O. Nov. 4, 1957 [Nov. 10, 1956; Dec. 20, 1956; March 8, 1957; April 8, 1957], No. 34301/57. Class 52(1) Sheet metal shelves 4 have U-sectioned flanged ends to enclose wooden end bars 5 slotted to engage the webs of U-sectioned uprights 2 and resting on pins 9 in apertures in the uprights. Preferably the pins and apertures are rectangular and the pin ends 15 are angularly offset so that they lock by rotation on insertion. The front and rear edges of the shelf may also be flanged to retain frame bars 13 and the metal is cut away adjacent the uprights so that they are in contact only with wood.
