A shelf assembly has standard units each comprising two rectangular boards 1, 2 spaced apart by rods 3, 4 to which are screwed terminal members 5, 6 and when units are connected together adjacent boards overlap and the ends ofrods 17, 18 are connected to rods 19, 20 by screwed parts passing through registering holes in the boards. The height of shelves may be increased by spacers 27, 28, Fig. 5. Specification 808,621 is referred to.
