1,009,248. Drying apparatus. RIETZ MANUFACTURING CO. July 1, 1964 [July 9, 1963], No. 27135/64. Heading F4G. A pneumatic drier comprises a chamber divided into vertically spaced sections 10a, 10b, 10c connected by aligned throat sections 31, 32 in which bodies 36, 37 are mounted on a vertically extending rod 38 to be adjustably located axially within the throat sections so as to control and adjust the flow of a heated drying gas carrying material to be dried which is introduced into the lower end of the chamber and exhausted at the upper end.
