Abstract

1,005,354. Fuel injectors. E. SATZGER. June 21, 1962 [June 21, 1961], No. 23984/62. Heading F1B. A needle valve 1 spring-loaded through a rod 2 is prevented from rotating in the nozzle 5. In Fig. 1 a triangular cross-section projection 6 on the needle slides in a similar guide bore 7 in the nozzle body. In Fig. 3 the end 9 of the needle 1 is non-rotatably secured to the rod 2 which is prevented from rotating by a projection 13<SP>1</SP> on the nozzle body engaging an aperture 13 in the upper end 12 of rod. The member 9 has a flat 10 which is engaged by an inturned part 12 of the end of the rod 2. Specification 1,005,355 is referred to.
