Abstract

1,072,422. Fuel injectors. ROBERT BOSCH G.m.b.H. Feb. 16, 1966 [Feb. 20, 1965], No. 6706/66. Heading F1B. A fuel injector nozzle tip 7 is secured in a recess in the body 1 by deforming material of the body into recesses 18 and a guide sleeve 8 is secured by similar deformation or by an inserted plug 16. In Fig. 1 the material of the plug 16 is deformed into a recess in the body 1; alternatively the plug may be omitted and a rib 21, Fig. 2 (not shown) is deformed into a recess 20 in the sleeve. The deformed heads may be inductively hard soldered with the walls of the recesses.
