Abstract

L’invention concerne un procédé d’aide à la conduite d’un véhicule automobile (10) qui comporte un groupe motopropulseur (16), un système de direction (14) équipé d’un volant (15), des moyens d’actionnement (17, 18) du groupe motopropulseur et du système de direction qui comprennent une interface haptique agissant sur le volant (15), et un calculateur (11) adapté à piloter les moyens d’actionnement selon plusieurs niveaux d’automatisation distincts. Selon l’invention, lorsque le pilotage des moyens d’actionnement passe d’un desdits niveaux d’automatisation à un autre, le calculateur transmet à l'interface haptique une consigne haptique prédéterminée.
