Abstract
La demande concerne un procédé de préparation d'un matériau composite comprenant les étapes de : (i) traitement thermique de fibres naturelles lignocellulosiques à une température de 130 à 300°C pendant 2 min à 24 heures dans une atmosphère déficiente en oxygène et en présence de vapeur d'eau, (ii) mélange des fibres naturelles lignocellulosiques traitées thermiquement avec au moins un polymère thermoplastique à l'état fondu et dont la température de fusion est inférieure ou égale à 230°C, le matériau composite susceptible d'être obtenu, ses utilisations pour la préparation de pièces de véhicules et un procédé de réduction des émissions d'odeurs de composés organiques volatils d'un matériau composite comprenant des fibres naturelles lignocellulosiques
