La présente invention concerne un véhicule automobile dans lequel le siège du conducteur est situé sensiblement au milieu du véhicule et à une distance relativement importante d'une porte latérale d'accès à l'intérieur du véhicule. L'invention concerne en particulier un véhicule équipé d'un siège central de conducteur disposé entre deux sièges de passager qui présente ainsi une largeur supérieure à celle des véhicules classiques ne comportant à l'avant que deux sièges.
