VEHICULE AUTOMOBILE D'ENCOMBREMENT REDUIT AUTOMOTIVE VEHICLE WITH REDUCED SIZE
The present invention relates to a four-wheeled motor vehicle, more particularly intended for urban displacements. Such a vehicle is known which is relatively compact and of the type comprising a body having a floor, a roof, and, on each side, a fixed rear lateral wing and a movable front lateral door between an open position in which it discovers a section. passage, and a closed position. However, this compactness is either insufficient or gives the vehicle a high cost, which limits its sales. The problem of accessibility of the passengers of a vehicle increases if the size of the vehicle is reduced. 15 For older users or families with young children this problem is accentuated. The present invention aims to achieve a new four-wheeled motor vehicle for urban travel. In the vehicle of the aforementioned type, the body defines a passenger compartment in which are disposed a central front seat and two rear side seats, and the roof comprises, on each side, a horizontal notch which is located in the extension of the passage section. , and which forms with it a lateral access opening to the front and rear seats disengaged when the corresponding door is in its open position, and obstructed when the door is in its closed position, this vehicle is characterized in that at least one of the lateral seats is movably mounted between at least two extreme positions located along an axis substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle. Thus, the presence of rear seats sliding on a vehicle with three seats and their provision relative to a front center seat, and two rear seats behind and on each side of the front seat, associated with a roof comprising, on each side, a notch at the passage section, reduces the volume of the cabin while facilitating access to the seats. Other features and advantages of the present invention will appear in the detailed description of an embodiment given by way of non-limiting example and illustrated by the appended drawings in which: FIG. 1 is a schematic perspective view of above and to the side of a vehicle according to the embodiment, the vehicle being limited to the floor, the wheels, and the seats; Figure 2 is a perspective view from above and from the side of the vehicle according to the embodiment, the doors being closed; Figure 3 is a perspective view of three quarter front illustrating the introduction of passengers; Figure 4 is a view similar to Figures 2 and 3 illustrating the ease of access to the rear seats; Figure 5 is a view similar to Figures 2 to 4 showing ease of access to the front seat; Figure 6 is a view similar to Figure 4, the rear seats being folded; Figure 7 is a top view showing the rear seats in the rear position and dashed lines said 25 rear seats in the forward position; Figure 8 is a view similar to Figure 7 with passengers on the seats in the rear position and advanced (dotted). Referring to the drawing, we see a motor vehicle 1 30 with four wheels 2, 3 comprising a body which defines a passenger compartment in which are arranged a central front seat 4 and two rear side seats 5. The body comprises a floor 6, a roof 7, and, on each side, a rear lateral wing 8 and a side door 9. In addition, the bodywork also comprises a front hull 10 which is provided with a windshield 11 and two front lateral wings 12. Each side door 9 is movable between an open position in which it discovers a passage section allowing access to the front seats 4 and rear 5, and a closed position in which it obstructs this passage section. In the present embodiment, each door 9 is slidably mounted in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle (see FIG. 2), without any transverse clearance movement. In the open position, each sliding door 9 covers the corresponding rear lateral wing 8, and in the closed position, the front edge of the door 9 is flush with the edge of the body defining the front 13 of the corresponding passage section, and, more precisely, crushes a seal carried by the corresponding front lateral wing 12. Moreover, the bodywork also comprises, in the present embodiment, a trunk access system located behind the two rear seats 5. In addition, as can be seen in FIGS. 3 to 6, the roof 7 comprises, on each side, a horizontal notch 16 which is located in the extension of the passage section. This notch 16 forms, with this passage section, a lateral access opening to the front seats 4 and rear 5. The presence of this notch 16 greatly helps passengers by allowing them to have easy access to their seat without performing any more or less delicate movements. Each side access opening is disengaged when the corresponding door 9 is in its open position, and obstructed when in its closed position. In the present embodiment, as can be seen in Figure 2, each door comprises, in addition to a substantially vertical main panel 17 which is adapted to obstruct the passage section, a horizontal top plate 18 which is adapted to obstruct the The door 9 is in one piece, which means that the upper plate 18 is fixed relative to the main panel 17. Still for the purpose of facilitating access to the seats 4, 5, in the present embodiment, the floor 6 comprises, on each side, a horizontal indentation 19 which is located in the extension of the passage section (see Figures 3 to 6). Thus, each lateral access opening is formed by a passage section, a roof notch 16 and a floor notch 19. The body comprises, on each side, a bottom plate movable between open position in which it releases the door. floor notch 19, and a closed position in which it obstructs it, the position of the lower plate being secured to that of the corresponding door 9. In the present embodiment, in order to avoid any interference with the rear wheels 3 when the door 9 is in its open position, the lower plate is not part of the latter, but is mounted to the floor 6. However, the plate lower could advantageously be an integral part of the door. In addition, to facilitate access to the seats 4, 5, they have a particular disposition in the passenger compartment. Thus, each lateral rear seat 5 is arranged longitudinally so that the zone 20 of the floor 6 for the reception of the passenger's feet is in the extension of the corresponding passage section, as can be seen in FIGS. this zone 20 is formed by the lower plate. In addition, in all positions, the front edge 21 of each side seat 5 is located in front of the rear edge 22 of the corresponding passage section. Here, the distance longitudinally between the front edge 21 of the rear lateral seat 5 of the rear edge 22 of the passage section is at most equal to one-third of the distance separating the front and rear edges of the passage section. In this way, access to each rear seat 5 is particularly simple, especially when the floor 6 and the roof 7 comprise a notch 16, 19 (see Figure 4). It should be noted that in the present example, each rear seat 5 is foldable to allow an increase in the volume available for the trunk, if necessary (see Figure 6). Similarly, the central front seat 4 is arranged longitudinally so that its seat is in the extension of the two passage sections. In this configuration, the zone 23 of the floor 6 for receiving the driver's feet is located between the front wheels 2. In addition, the front edge 24 of the central front seat 4 is in front of the front edge 13 of the passage sections, and its trailing edge 25 is in front of the trailing edge 22 of the passage sections. Here, the distance longitudinally the front edge 24 of the front seat 4 of the front edge 13 of the passage section is at most equal to one third of the distance between the front 24 and rear 25 edges of the seat of the front seat 4. The Access to the front seat 4 is facilitated by the fact that it is the only front seat and is arranged in the center (see Figure 5). Preferably it is slidably mounted to adapt the seat distance pedals. In the present embodiment, the motorization of the vehicle 1 is electric. Advantageously, at least one of the side seats 5 and preferably the two side seats 5 are movably mounted between at least two extreme positions. A sliding system may be used along an axis substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle. The lateral seat can move between a so-called advanced position (dotted line in Figure 7) where the seat is at the side opening and a retracted position where said seat is no longer in front of the opening.
The length of the sliding will be close to the depth of the seat of said seat. This solution allows the rear passengers to advance their seat when the vehicle is traveling and to move it back to facilitate the movement of the driver (center seat) when he gets on or gets off the vehicle. The rear passenger can according to his mobility (handicap) either advance the seat or back to better sit or go out.
It is also understood that if we advance the rear seats, we increase the volume available at the rear of said seats to accommodate luggage. Figure 8 shows passengers occupying rear seats in the retracted position allows to reveal the space left free for the legs of said passengers and therefore the ability to advance the seats without forcing said passengers to bend their legs. When the side seat is in the advanced position, the legs of the occupant of this seat will extend on the side of the seat of the front seat; this arrangement allows optimal occupancy of space (see the advanced position of the dotted legs in Figure 8). As can be seen in the advanced position, on the one hand, the front edge of the seat of said side seat is set back from the front edge of the seat of the central seat and in front of the rear edge of the seat seat central and on the other hand, the seats of the side seats are not at the same height as the seat of the central seat so that there is an overlap between the lateral edge of the central seat and the lateral edge of the side seat. The space dedicated to the legs can be closer friends will be long. As seen in this figure 8, the axis of displacement of the seats indicated by the arrow (a) shows that it is not parallel to the axis of the vehicle. The rear seat deviates from the median longitudinal axis of the vehicle when moving the seat forward. A pivoting mechanism may also be provided for pivoting the rear seats, the seat being directed towards the side opening. Of course, the present invention is not limited to the present embodiment.
