Abstract

The swimming pool is composed of two longitudinal concrete elements (1,2) forming a vertical wall (3) and a bottom wall portion (5). The bottom wall has a longitudinal rabbet (6) in its upper face. A bottom slab (11) forming the central part of the pool bottom comprises longitudinal edges with longitudinal rabbets (13) for fitting into the bottom wall longitudinal rabbets. POOL OF THE TYPE COMPOSED OF PREFABRICATED ELEMENTS

REINFORCED CONCRETE

  The invention relates to a swimming pool composed of prefabricated reinforced concrete elements. Swimming pools are very special works in the field of civil engineering because they are subjected to very diverse stresses such as internal thrust of the water contained in the basin, external thrust of the land, constraints resulting from possible settlement of the ground. For these reasons, the realization of reinforced concrete swimming pools by traditional means imposes to call upon a qualified labor increasingly rare and expensive, in order to prevent possible later damages likely to affect the durability. of the book. The direct consequences of this state of affairs are on the one hand a very high cost price of such works, and on the other hand, a number of claims not

negligible.

  In order to remedy these difficulties, an alternative consists in making the reinforced concrete pools from elements prefabricated in the factory, and designed to be assembled on site. On the basis of this principle, a multitude of solutions are proposed at present consisting for example of supplying prefabricated elements either designed to be assembled across the width of the pool, as described in FR 2,439,856 or DE 1.434.776, or designed to be assembled lengthwise of the pool, such that

  described in FR 1,567,669 or FR 2,649,149.

  However, none of the solutions proposed to date is really satisfactory, which explains the relative confidentiality of the

  market of such prefabricated swimming pools.

  In fact, and by way of example, swimming pools, the prefabricated elements of which are designed to be assembled across the width of said swimming pool, require the production of a plurality of elements, for obvious reasons of permissible upper limit. the weight and size of these elements, the relative positioning of which on site is difficult. In addition, the

  solidity of the completed work requires anchoring these elements to each other to

  using relatively sophisticated anchoring means.

  Concerning swimming pools provided with elements assembled longitudinally, and in the first place, the upper permissible limit of weight and size limits the dimensions of swimming pools which can be produced by means of such elements. The dimensions are also further reduced by the fact that each half-shell described in the above-mentioned patents must have a significant weight in order to present a suitable stability when the basin is filled with water. In addition, the overall stability of the basin can only be obtained by perfect anchoring, difficult to obtain, of the two

  half shells relative to each other.

  Furthermore, it should also be noted that none of the aforementioned solutions offers the possibility of producing swimming pools which may have

various forms and aspects.

  The present invention aims to overcome all of the aforementioned drawbacks of current techniques for producing swimming pools from prefabricated reinforced concrete elements, and has as its first objective to provide a swimming pool the various elements of which self-stabilize without requiring specific anchoring means, and whose weight and size allow the

  construction of large pools.

  Another objective of the invention is to provide a concept of swimming pool provided with elements making it possible to produce swimming pools having forms

and various aspects.

  To this end, the invention relates to a swimming pool, the prefabricated elements of which comprise: - at least two longitudinal elements comprising in one piece a portion of wall, called vertical, forming the vertical longitudinal wall of the swimming pool, and a portion of wall , called the bottom, forming a longitudinal side strip of the bottom of the pool, said bottom wall portion having a longitudinal rebate formed in its upper face at its free edge, - at least one bottom slab forming the central part of the bottom of the swimming pool, comprising longitudinal edges of junction with the bottom wall portions of the longitudinal elements, provided with a longitudinal rebate formed on the underside of the bottom slab and of a shape adapted so that said longitudinal edges come fit into the longitudinal rabbets of said longitudinal elements, so that the upper faces of the latter and of each bottom slab are c oplanar, -two end elements adapted to be abutted to the longitudinal elements and to each bottom slab, and comprising a wall portion, called vertical, forming in the continuity of the longitudinal elements, the

  vertical transverse sealing walls of the swimming pool.

  According to the principle of the invention, the swimming pool comprises two longitudinal elements forming, in addition, a side strip portion of the bottom of said swimming pool, and at least one bottom slab forming the central part of said bottom, said longitudinal elements and said slab bottom being fitted with interlocking structures leading to self-locking and stabilizing these longitudinal elements due to the weight of the bottom slab to which is added, in addition, a

  once the basin is filled, the weight of the water contained in said basin.

  Such self-locking guarantees overall stability without requiring anchoring of the longitudinal elements and the bottom slab. In addition, it leads to lightening the longitudinal elements and therefore facilitating the

  transport and handling thereof.

  Advantageously, the longitudinal elements have shapes adapted so that the bottom wall portion is inclined longitudinally relative to the upper edge of the vertical wall portion,

  so as to obtain a swimming pool comprising a bottom having a slope.

  In addition, each of these longitudinal elements advantageously comprises an intermediate wall portion forming a cutaway between

  the vertical wall and bottom portions.

  Such a cutaway, preferably inclined by 45 with respect to the portions of vertical and bottom walls, forms, in fact, a joint which leads to increasing the resistance of the longitudinal elements and therefore making it possible to lighten the latter. In addition, it promotes, once the pelvis

  filled, natural convection of water and therefore facilitates the cleaning of this basin.

  This cutaway can, moreover, have a suitable shape to define the slope of the bottom of the pool. To this end and advantageously, the vertical wall portion of each longitudinal element has a constant height, the intermediate wall portion having a linearly variable height adapted to define the slope of the bottom of the pool, and the wall portion bottom having a width which is inversely variable linearly with respect to the height of the intermediate wall portion, so as to present a

  free edge parallel to the vertical wall portion.

  Furthermore, in order to strengthen the articulation that the cutaway forms, and advantageously, each longitudinal element comprises at each of its longitudinal ends, a transverse right foot

  forming a seat base at the rear of said longitudinal element.

  According to another advantageous embodiment, each longitudinal element and each end element comprise an upper external rim integrating a peripheral chaining, and means for keying said said

  edges at the junctions between said elements.

  Such a ledge increases the inertia of the prefabricated elements, and also incorporates the peripheral chaining of the swimming pool, conventionally carried out on site. The only operation to be carried out on site at the peripheral chaining therefore consists in keying the edges of the elements so as to ensure the continuity of this chaining. To this end, the keying means can advantageously comprise: - either reservations made opposite at the ends of said flanges, in which extend the end sections awaiting the reinforcement of the chaining, and intended to be filled with mortar , - or reservations made opposite at the ends of said elements in which extend rods anchored in the flanges, and for each couple of reservations opposite, a rigid plate provided with holes adapted to allow it to be threaded on the stems,

  and means for securing said plate to said rods.

  Concerning the end elements, one of these advantageously consists of a pit of width equivalent to that of the swimming pool, comprising in one piece a portion of vertical wall having, seen from above, the shape of a U provided with two returns adapted to extend in the extension of the vertical wall portions of the longitudinal elements, and

  a bottom wall closing the underside of said pit.

  In addition, this pit is preferably adapted to be arranged in the extension of the ends of the longitudinal elements defining the maximum depth of said pool, and thus constitute a pit

"Diving".

  In addition, and advantageously, in order to obtain a self-

  blocking of this pit by each bottom slab: the bottom wall of the pit comprises a transverse rebate formed in its upper face at its free edge, over a median portion of length of said free edge equivalent to the width of the part central of the pool floor slab, - each floor slab has a transverse edge of

  junction with the bottom wall of the pit, provided with a rebate formed under

  face of said bottom slab and of a shape adapted so that said transverse edge comes to fit in the rebate of said bottom wall, so that the upper faces of this bottom wall and of each bottom slab are coplanar

  at their junction line.

  This pit also advantageously comprises an intermediate wall portion forming a cutaway between the vertical wall portion and the bottom wall, said cutaway having a combined height of

  that of the longitudinal elements at their junction with said pit.

  Associated with this end element and poured simultaneously with the latter into a common mold, said end element advantageously further comprises a tank attached in one piece to the core of the portion of

  vertical wall of the pit and adapted to act as a technical room.

  In addition, advantageously, this tank has a height less than that of the pit, and a nozzle is arranged under said tank.

  As indicated above, the pit and the longitudinal elements are self-locked and stabilized by each bottom slab. However, for security purposes, these elements advantageously include keying means comprising reservations arranged opposite at the junction of the walls of the elements forming the bottom of the pool, in which rods vertically extend anchored in said walls. bottom, and for each pair of reservations opposite, a rigid plate provided with holes adapted to allow it to be threaded on the rods and means for securing

said plate on said rods.

  The other end element advantageously consists of an access element to said swimming pool intended to be disposed at the level of the shallowest end of the swimming pool, said access element comprising in one piece: - a rectangular closure wall at one end of the swimming pool, provided with keying means with the longitudinal elements, said closure wall comprising a notch having a bottom substantially parallel to the upper and lower edges of this wall, and of such depth that said bottom defines an intermediate landing between said upper and lower edges, distant from the latter by a height adapted so that said landing is capable of constituting the single access step, - a wall forming a track extending in doorway false relative to the closure wall, at a distance from the upper edge of the latter at least equal to the depth of its notch, said wall-pla ge formed opposite the notch having a width at least equal to that of said notch, and being bordered peripherally by a side wall of a height adapted so that the upper edge of said side wall is coplanar

  with that of the shutter wall.

  In addition, the beach wall of this access element is advantageously provided at a distance from the upper edge of the closure wall adapted so that the bottom of the notch and the upper face of

  said beach wall are level.

  In addition, advantageously, the width of the wall-range of the access element at its junction with the closure wall is identical to that of the notch. Furthermore, for the sake of simplicity of installation, the closure wall of the access element has dimensions adapted to be inserted between the longitudinal elements and rest on the transverse end strip of each slab. bottom and bottom wall portions

  The swimming pool according to the invention as described above therefore consists of five basic prefabricated elements whose shapes and dimensions allow them to be transported by road without requiring an exceptional convoy. On site, these prefabricated elements can then be placed directly on compacted soil or on judiciously positioned prefabricated concrete studs. Once the assembly is completed, the basin obtained is

  perfectly stable due to self-locking elements.

  The only operations required thereafter consist in ensuring the keying of the external edges of the elements and the keying of

  safety of the bottom portions of these elements, and to seal the joints by means

a simple mortar.

  With prefabrication in vibrated molds of metallic type or equivalent, the laying of liner and filling with water can then be carried out without delay. Furthermore, it should be noted that on the basis of the five elements described above, the concept of the invention makes it possible to decline a

  range of swimming pools of various appearance and dimensions.

  By way of example, each of the longitudinal wall walls of the swimming pool can be made up of two longitudinal elements arranged end to end with continuity or inversion of the slope of the bottom of the swimming pool. Likewise, the bottom of the swimming pool may be made up, not of a single central bottom slab, but of two slabs provided with mating interlocking rebates, in order to obtain basins of greater width. Other characteristics, aims and advantages of the invention

  will emerge from the detailed description which follows with reference to the appended drawings

  which represent by way of nonlimiting example a preferred embodiment and an alternative embodiment.   The reinforced concrete swimming pool according to the invention represented in FIGS. 1 to 3 is made up of five prefabricated elements in the factory and whose assembly on site only requires very simple keying operations

  easily and quickly achievable.

  As shown in Figures 1 and 2, the first two elements of this pool consist of two longitudinal elements 1, 2 each forming one of the longitudinal wall walls of said pool and a longitudinal side strip of the bottom slab of this pool. Each of these longitudinal elements 1, 2 comprises for this purpose: - a portion of vertical wall 3 of constant height, - a portion of intermediate wall 4 forming a cutaway inclined by 45 relative to the portion of vertical wall 3, and shape adapted so that the bottom of the pool has a conventional slope. To this end, this intermediate wall portion 4 has, seen in projection onto a vertical plane, the shape of a right triangle whose longitudinal side adjacent to the right angle constitutes the junction line with the vertical wall portion 3, - A bottom wall portion 5 having the shape of a rectangular trapezium whose two bases constitute the longitudinal end edges of said bottom wall portion and whose side opposite the angles

  straight line constitutes the junction line with the intermediate wall portion 4.

This bottom wall portion 5 finally comprises a horizontal flat 7 at its longitudinal end corresponding to the shallower area of the pool. Each of the longitudinal elements 1, 2 also comprises, at each of its longitudinal ends, a transverse straight foot 50, 51 forming a seat at the rear of said longitudinal element which,

  on the one hand, increases its stability and on the other hand stiffens the latter.

  Each of the longitudinal elements 1, 2 further comprises an upper external rebound 8 in which is incorporated the peripheral chaining of the swimming pool, said flange extending in the extension of the vertical wall portion 3, at the longitudinal end of the latter corresponding to the shallowest area of the pool, of a length equal to the width

of said ledge.

  In addition, this flange 8 has a reservation 9, 10 at each of its longitudinal ends for the purpose of keying the

  longitudinal elements 1, 2 with the elements attached to the latter.

  The third element of this pool consists of a slab

  bottom 11 intended to form the central part of the bottom of said swimming pool.

  This bottom slab 11 comprises, firstly, at one of its longitudinal ends, a horizontal flat 12 of width

  combined with that of the flats 7 of the longitudinal elements 1, 2.

  Along its three other sides, longitudinal and transverse, this bottom slab 11 has a rebate 13, 14 formed in the underside of said bottom slab, and adapted so that said edges are fitted into the rebates 6 of the longitudinal elements and that of the fourth element

described below.

  This fourth element consists, in turn, of a pit 15 adapted to be abutted to the longitudinal elements 1, 2, in the extension

  ends of the latter defining the maximum depth of the pool.

  This pit 15 with a width equivalent to that of the swimming pool comprises, first of all, a side wall 16 having, seen from above, the shape of a U, and comprising an upper portion 16a of vertical wall, and a lower portion 16b forming a cutaway inclined at 45, said upper and lower wall portions having heights similar to those of the vertical and intermediate wall 3 and 4 portions of the longitudinal elements 1, 2, at the junction line of said elements

  longitudinal 1, 2 with said pit.

  This pit 15 further comprises a bottom slab 17 for closing its lower face, provided, at its free edge, and in its median part, with a rabbet 18 adapted to cooperate with the rabbet 14 of the

base plate 11.

  This pit 15 finally comprises an external upper rim 19 adapted to extend in the continuity of the rim 8 of the longitudinal elements 1, 2, and comprising two reservations such as 20 for keying in

  said pit with said longitudinal elements.

  FIG. 4 represents a variant of this fourth element comprising, in addition to a pit 15 similar to that described above, a technical room 30 attached to the core of the side wall 16 of said pit, and poured

simultaneously with the latter.

  This technical room consists of a tank 30 of rectangular parallelepiped shape whose height is combined with that of the portion

  vertical top 16a of the side wall 16 of the pit.

  In addition, this tank 30 ensuring by its connection with the pit 15, the peripheral chaining function, the peripheral rim 19 is

  interrupted over the width of said tank.

  Finally, and according to this variant, a nozzle 31 is disposed under the tank 30 so as to act as a support foot for said tank, and a decompression well allowing using a pump of known type maintain the water level outside the pool at a level below

the one at the bottom of the latter.

  As shown in Figures 1, 2, the portions of the four above described elements forming the bottom of the pool, further include reservations such as 21, 22 opposite at their junction lines

  for the keying of said bottom portions.

  As shown in Figure 9, this keying can be achieved by anchoring in each of the reservations 21, 22 opposite the elements, a vertical threaded rod 35, 36 projecting into said reservation, then blocking by means of nuts such as 37, on the bottom of the reservations 21, 22, a keying plate 38 pierced with orifices through which the rods extend

threaded 35, 36.

  Finally, reservations 21, 22 are then

filled with mortar.

  The fifth element of this pool consists of an element 23 for access to said pool, further adapted to close off the end

  longitudinal of this pool.

  This access element 23 comprises, firstly, a closure wall 24 of dimensions adapted to be inserted between the longitudinal elements 1, 2 so as to rest on the flats 7, 12 of the latter and of the slab bottom 11, in a position where the external face of said

  obturation wall is profiled with the edge of said longitudinal elements.

  This closure wall 24 further comprises a rectangular indentation 25 the depth of which is

example of around 50 cm.

  The access element 23 also comprises a wall 26 of semicircular shape of the "Roman" type extending in a cantilever fashion relative to the closure wall 24 in the extension of the bottom of the notch 25, said wall being bordered peripherally by a side wall 27 of conjugate height

  that of said notch, delimiting a range with this wall 26.

  This side wall 27 also constitutes the first degree

  of access to the swimming pool, the second degree being constituted by the difference in height between the wall-

beach 26 and the bottom of the pool.

  The access element 23 finally comprises an upper external rim 28 extending in continuity along the solid portions of the closure wall 24 and along the side wall 27 of the beach, and adapted to come s 'abut against the sections of the peripheral edges 8 of the longitudinal elements 1, 2 extending in the extension of said elements, and

  As shown in FIGS. 7 and 8, the keying of the upper edges 8, 19, 28 of the elements forming the wall wall of the swimming pool,

  can be done in two advantageous ways.

  The first solution shown in Figure 7 is to anchor in each of the reservations facing two of the elements, a vertical threaded rod 40, 41 protruding into said reservations, and to be blocked by means of nuts such as 42, on the bottom reservations a keying plate

  43 pierced with orifices through which extend the threaded rods 40, 41.

  The second solution represented in FIG. 8 consists in providing reinforcements 44, 45 of the peripheral chaining pending in each

reservations.

  Either way, reservations are

  lastly filled with mortar. The swimming pool as described above therefore consists of elements

  prefabricated reinforced concrete, on the one hand, having a surface condition avoiding any suggestion of patching before the installation of the liner, by means of making these elements in metal vibrated molds, and on the other hand requiring only simple operations on site quick and easy keying, and the realization of simple mortar joints at the lines in junction between the various elements. In addition, the elements of this pool have natural stability due to the interlocking system of the bottom portions of said elements which leads to ensuring the stability of said elements forming the wall.

  Finally, such a swimming pool can have very varied shapes and dimensions derived from the concept of the swimming pool described above. Swimming pool according to one of the preceding claims,   characterized in that it comprises keying means comprising reservations (21, 22) arranged opposite at the junction of the walls (5, 11, 17) of the elements forming the bottom of the pool, in which extend vertically rods (35, 36) anchored in said bottom walls, and for each pair of reservations opposite, a rigid plate (43) provided with holes adapted to allow it to be threaded onto the rods (40, 41), and means   (42) for securing said plate to said rods.   17 / - a wall (26) forming a range extending cantilevered relative to the closure wall (24), at a distance from the upper edge of this last at least it scales at the depth of its notch (25), said wall-surface formed opposite the notch (25) having a width at least equal to that of said notch, and being bordered peripherally by a side wall (27) of height adapted so that the upper edge of said wall   lateral or coplanar with that of the closure wall (24).   18 / - Swimming pool according to claims 7 and 20 taken   assemblies, characterized in that the closing wall (24) of the access element (23) is arranged so that its external face is level with the end edges of the longitudinal elements, the external rim (28 ; 8) of said closure wall or of said longitudinal elements having an extension with respect to the latter or of the latter, so as to ensure the continuity of the peripheral rim (8, 28) at the angles of the swimming pool, each of said extensions incorporating the keying means of the access element (23) with a longitudinal element (1, 2).   23 / -
