Abstract

Description

The invention relates to a hinge fitting for a door, window or

  similar, comprising a fixed part, on the one hand, made integral by means of suitable fastening means in the rebate of a fixed frame and, on the other hand, provided with articulation means, such as a ball joint, a socket or an axis, intended to cooperate with complementary articulation means of a movable part attached to the opening of said door, window or the like. The present invention will find its application in the field of building hardware and relates, more particularly,

hinge fittings.

  In special circumstances, it may be that such a displacement of the opening over such a long length is impossible, so that it is necessary to separate either the fixed part or the mobile part, respectively from the frame or

opening it to remove it.

  There are also situations where the relative movement to communicate to the opening to unhook it from the sleeping frame, therefore to dissociate their respective means of articulation, has harmful consequences. This is particularly the case when there is a hinge fitting of the invisible type, comprising a movable part taking position in the rebate and / or more simply at the level of the covering strip extending around the periphery of the opening and intended, in the closed position of

  this one, to be applied on the internal face of the frame.

  It is understood that in such a situation the articulation means of the fixed part and the complementary articulation means of the movable part are also located at the height of this covering strip which also receives a

  peripheral seal.

  Under these conditions, it would be necessary, at the height of these articulation means, to interrupt this seal and, this, over a height taking into account the relative displacement that it may be necessary to communicate to the opening to unhook him from his

sleeping frame.

  In reality, it is very rarely taken into account this displacement that one may have to give the opening to unhook it from its sleeping frame, this, of course, to improve the tightness of the door or window. Obviously, under these conditions, we can not help but deteriorate, this joint

  The present invention has proposed to remedy the aforementioned problem. Thus, as part of a first inventive step, it was imagined to dissociate the hooking function of the opening on its dormant frame of the articulation means which connect them, therefore to deviate from the solution the more generally used

  This way of approaching the problem made it possible to envisage, in the event of the hinge of the opening from its sleeping frame, having to print to this opening a displacement which is of an amplitude strictly dependent on the opening-sleeping link function. and

not of the articulation function.

  It should be noted, in this regard, that the articulation means can borrow configurations which are strictly identical to those present, so that it remains possible to connect the mobile part of an articulation fitting to the fixed part by means of these means of articulation. This can be particularly practical when the carpenter comes to associate these different parts of the hinge fitting, on one side, on the frame and, on the other, on an opening frame, at the level of lines

  Such a hinge fitting 1 comprises a fixed part 2 and a movable part 3. The first is made integral by means of suitable fastening means 4 in rebate 5 of the frame 6, here shown in the form of a simple section profile, corresponding to a door, window or the like 7. This fixed part 2 is further provided with articulation means 8 intended to cooperate with complementary articulation means 9 that comprises the movable part 3 corresponding to this fitting hinge 1 and which is made integral with the opening 10 corresponding to this door, window or the like 7. The fastening means 4 in rebate 5 of the frame 6 of the fixed part 2 can, of course, borrow different embodiments. Thus, according to the embodiment corresponding to the figures of the attached drawing, they consist of a fixing plate 11 provided, at its rear face 12, with an anchoring shoe 13 of section adapted for its reception, in particular by clipping, in a groove 14 that usually has a sleeping frame 6 designed by assembling profiles of the metallic or synthetic type.   In the embodiment shown in Figures 1 and 2, the movable part 3 of the hinge fitting 1 is provided capable of taking position in a recess 25 formed in the covering strip 26 with which the opening 10 is equipped, this on the side 27 provided capable of coming into contact with the sleeping frame 6, once

  In fact, the particularity of the invention consists in that the articulation means 8 of the fixed part 2, in this case the ball joint 23, are integral with an intermediate support 30 comprising hooking means 31 provided capable of to cooperate with complementary fastening means 32 associated with the fastening means 4 in rabbet 5 of said fixed part 2. Furthermore, locking means 33 are provided for, in the locked position, preventing

  Substantially and apart from the support base 24 of which the ball joint 23 is integral, the intermediate support 30 is in the form of a wing 34 extending parallel to the plate of

  fixing 11 so as to come to apply on the latter.

  On the rear face 35, opposite this fixing plate 11, this wing 34 has a hook 36 provided to engage and cooperate with a hooking opening 37 provided for this purpose in

this fixing plate 11.

  In particular, the attachment opening 37 is defined in a frustoconical shape in its lower part 38, while the hook 36 has a complementary shape, this so as to contribute to the transverse positioning of this intermediate support 30 relative to to said fixing plate 11. Note also, in this regard, that the wing 34 can be provided on its rear face 35 and at its lateral edges 39, 40, with lateral retaining flanges 41 intended to cooperate with the chants

  Preferably, in the case of a joinery whose dormant frame 6 is defined by metal or plastic profiles and therefore comprising, in rabbet 5, a groove 14, the opening 37 in the fixing plate 11 is located in line with this groove 14, while the hook 36 is extended so as to extend in the latter. Claims   1.
