Abstract

13,751. Johnson, J. Y., [Bull, E. J.]. June 9. Hinges.-To enable hinges to be secured to metal door or window frames without the use of screws or bolts, the hinge flaps which are connected to the frames are provided with headed studs a adapted to engage keyhole slots b in the frame. The other flaps are provided with ordinary screw - holes c. The narrow portions of the keyhole slots for the lower hinge project upwardly to prevent removal of the door or window. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 16,458/94 and 23,025/07.
