Dispositif de sécurité pour baie vitrée (10 ; 11) à volet mobile (18 ; 318), notamment pour véhicules, du type comportant un panneau de verre (16) raccordé sur au moins une portion de sa périphérie à une structure (12) portant ladite baie, notamment une carrosserie, ledit panneau comportant une ouverture (22) pour ledit volet mobile, ledit volet (18 ; 318) étant rendu mobile par l'un au moins de ses bords périphériques grâce à au moins un organe de liaison (28 ; 328) coopérant avec un profilé (20 ; 320) solidaire du panneau (16) et formant logement (72 ; 372) pour au moins une partie de l'organe de liaison (28 ; 328), de façon que ledit volet se déplace entre une position de fermeture et une position d'ouverture, caractérisé en ce que ledit dispositif comprend, à chaque extrémité du profilé (20 ; 320), un sous-ensemble (100 ; 200 ; 300) de sécurité comportant au moins un élément de sécurité longitudinal (102 ; 202 ; 302) et des moyens de liaison (104, 106 ; 204, 206 ; 304, 306) s' étendant entre ledit élément de sécurité (102 ; 202 ; 302) et ladite structure (12), ledit élément de sécurité (102 ; 202 ; 302) présentant une extrémité libre (102b ; 202b ; 302b) disposée, sans contact, à l'intérieur d'un logement (72 ; 208 ; 308) ménagé dans ledit profilé (20 ; 320) ou dans lesdits moyens de liaison (104 ; 204 ; 304) de sorte que, lorsque ledit panneau (16) se brise, ledit profilé (20 ; 320) et, éventuellement, ledit volet (18 ; 318) sont retenus à ladite structure (12) par lesdits éléments (102 ; 202 ; 302) de sécurité et lesdits moyens de liaison (104 ; 204 ; 304). 1. Dispositif selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce qu'un tronçon desdits éléments de sécurité (102), comprenant ladite extrémité libre (102b), s'étend sans contact dans ledit logement (72) du profilé (20) et en ce que lesdits moyens de liaison comprennent un élément de support (104) disposé à proximité du profilé (20) et sans contact avec ledit profilé, ledit élément de sécurité (102) correspondant étant fixé audit élément de support (104) par une extrémité assujettie (102a) opposée à ladite extrémité libre (102b).2.
