Abstract

Ce système d'amortissement variable pour un pont est destiné être mis en place entre une superstructure (1) et un élément d'infrastructure (2) du pont. Suivant l'invention, ce système est caractérisé en ce qu'il peut faire varier librement sa caractéristique d'amortissement de façon à répartir la force d'inertie de la superstructure (1), produite lors d'un tremblement de terre, sur l'élément d'infra- structure (2) et à réduire aussi les vibrations et en ce qu'il peut en outre servir de butée pour empêcher la réponse excessive d'un dispositif à absorption de chocs.
