Abstract

The invention relates to a support-distributing mechanism with a lifting beam for handling trucks. The support-distributing mechanism for a truck, the rear part of which bears on a support which itself supported by a central motorised steering wheel and two lateral stabilising wheels, consists of a lifting beam 16, 18, 19 essentially arranged outside the zone of the central driving wheel 4, which comprises a linking tube 18 connecting, by means of two pivoting levers 16 and a return connecting rod 19, the two lateral stabilising wheels 12 which can move vertically, to the column 6 which supports the wheel 4 and which can slide on a bridge-shaped support 3. Dans le cas de transpalettes la roue motrice est habituellement à l'arrière au niveau des organes de commande et des batteries d'alimentation tandis que les galets porteurs se trouvent sous les bras de fourches et portent l'essentiel de la charge.Un tel chariot à trois points d'appui n'étant évidemment pas stable, on a pensé lui adjoindre deux roulettes stabilisatrices placées de part et d'autre de la roue motrice et montées sur des ressorts ou tampons élastiques. Cette disposition particulière ne donne cependant pas toujours satisfaction, car sur les plans inclinés ou en virage, l'écrasement d'une roulette stabilisa- trice fait pencher le chariot, au risque du renversement de la charge. On préfère alors utiliser des transpalettes ou gerbeurs disposant de deux roues stabilisatrices porteuses et de deux galets également porteurs, une roue motrice centrale étant aussi prévue entre les deux roues stabilisatrices.
