Abstract

The invention relates to the characteristics of a panel made up of two thin slabs made of concrete reinforced by a perforated metal sheet 1 (which replaces conventional reinforcement) sandwiching a thermally insulating element 3. These concrete slabs are connected together by means of reinforced concrete connectors 2. The thermally insulating element having the same dimension as the slabs (excluding thickness) provides, simply by its position inside the panel, the system for interlocking between panels. The thickness of the insulating element and therefore of the connectors enables the inertia and the insulating capabilities of the panel to be varied. The thickness of the thin load-bearing slabs remains unchanged. The consequence of this that the more the panel is thermally insulating, the better it resists the forces which are applied to it. The juxtaposition of the panels according to the invention is particularly intended for the construction of the resisting and insulating components of the building.

Description

The present invention relates to the possibility of creating a wall by fitting panels made up of two thin concrete plates between which is implanted a rigid thermal insulator.

The panels thus formed make it possible to produce the load-bearing and insulating walls of cold rooms, walls, floors, roof supports for buildings for industrial, commercial, office or residential use, etc.

Traditionally, such concrete panels were made with thick walls required by the coating of traditional concrete reinforcements. They included a thermal bridge to the right of the reinforcements or the connections between panels. In general, the more the insulating capacities of such panels were increased, the lower their mechanical strength became.

The device which is the subject of the invention makes it possible to reduce the thickness of concrete walls and therefore the weight of the panel because a perforated sheet (1), the diameter of the holes of which is greater than the largest element of gran lometry of the concrete but less than 'center of the holes, in all the surface of the panel laugh to reinforce the concrete of the plates.

This flat and thin perforated sheet ensures exceptional mechanical quaiities through the steel connectors (2) until the thickness of the load-bearing elements of the panel is reduced to 4 cm.
The inertia of the panels is ensured by the spacing of the concrete plates; the moment of inertia of a section relative to its center of gravity depending on the square of the lever arm of the elements.

The connectors contribute to the solidity of the panel, in particular they intervene by working remarkably well in the efforts of flame.

This means that the more insulating the panel, the more important all of its mechanical qualities become. It is therefore possible to take up earth thrusts for example as such an insulating panel when it is 'held' at the head and at the foot.

The positioning of the panels between them is ensured by an embo
tenons and mortises (3) tenons on two contiguous faces, and mortises on the other two faces. The tenons and mortises are provided by a displacement, along two perpendicular axes: from the insulating panel relative to the concrete slabs, the insulating panel having rigorously the same length and the same width as the concrete slabs. The thermal characteristics of the complex depend on the nature and thickness of the rigid insulation and therefore on the length of the reinforced concrete connectors. The more insulating the panel, the more resistant it is to buckling and normal forces.

The water and airtightness of the wall produced with these panels is ensured by a perimeter groove (4) in V or in half-round formed on the edge of the external plate. This groove is stuffed with sealant or filled at the pump once the panels are assembled.

Internal side of the wall, the same perimeter groove exists all around the edge of the concrete plate, but this is left empty if the wall remains as it is or filled with joint plaster and then covered with a textile band or in paper over the entire length. This strip is then covered with a thin coating thickness (5). In the case of use as a floor or as a roof support, the two grooves (4) are stuffed with mortar.

The transverse joints both outside and inside are made in the same way.
