Abstract

The self-locking and sealing connection is for feeding water to double walled plates (1) with internal channels in a heat exchanger. It consists of a long, hollow, element closed at each end and a shoe (2) embedded in a main body (3), with flexible lips (36,30). The edge of the plate goes between the lips and the hollow part is connected to the water source by spout parts (4) which are moulded either with the shoe or the body.
