Abstract

The present invention relates to edge-to-edge assembling of two elements 1 and 2 which may be, for example, two uprights of a prefabricated panel frame or any element having a mating surface. Two clamping jaws 3 are placed on either side of the said elements, each being transverse to the connection surface, these two jaws being pressed against the said elements with the aid of a clamping means passing through the thickness of these two elements at the connection surface 11. At least one of these jaws is provided with two bearing members 5 and 6 which are each inserted into a housing 7 made in one of the two elements, these two housings each being provided with a bearing surface, the said bearing surface and the said bearing member sloping with respect to the connection surface in such a way that the clamping of two jaws with the aid of the clamping means results in the two elements being clamped against each other.
