Abstract

a. Procédé pour faire marcher un moteur à combustion interne, à auto-allumage et à compression d'air. b. Procédé caractérisé en ce qu'un premier dispositif d'injection 2 envoie dans la chambre de combustion 5 un combustible non-inflammable et contenant de l'oxygène, un deuxième dispositif d'injection 3 envoyant dans la chambre de combustion 5 un combustible inflammable, par exemple le n-heptane ou du gas-oil, pour amorcer et/ou maintenir la combustion, tandis que le temps d'injection du combustible inflammable et le temps d'injection du combustible non-inflammable et contenant de l'oxygène se chevauchent l'un l'autre. c. L'invention s'applique notamment aux moteurs d'automobiles.
