Abstract

On chauffe des minéraux, tels que du gypse pulvérisé qu'il s'agit de calciner, avec un rendement thermique accru en opérant dans un récipient 1, avantageusement en forme de cône inversé, ayant une portion inférieure de faible section transversale, la chaleur étant fournie par des gaz chauds sortant du bas d'un tube descendant 6 équipé d'un brûleur 17, ces gaz chauffant et agitant simultanément la matière en évitant ainsi l'accumulation de produit calciné.
