Пристрій для варіння гіпсу містить ємність з завантажувальним і вивантажувальним отворами і встановлену в ній вертикально газопідвідну трубу, що не доходить до дна. З метою інтенсифікації обробки гіпсу бічні стінки виконані похилими, а дно - принаймні з одним виступом під випускним отвором газоподавальної труби.
