Abstract
Cartouche d'épuration de gaz d'échappement constituée par une matrice porteuse formée par enroulement de feuilles de métal et une enveloppe métallique entourant cette matrice porteuse. Entre la surface extérieure 17 de la matrice porteuse 12 et la surface intérieure 16 de l'enveloppe 11 est établi un ajustage serré et les deux pièces sont soudées ou brasées entre elles dans la région de l'ajustage serré 17. Application à la réalisation de catalyseurs de gaz d'échappement destinés à être logés sous le plancher de véhicules automobiles.
