Abstract

L'invention concerne un câble utilisé à très basse température Elle se rapporte à un câble coaxial comprenant un conducteur interne, un conducteur externe ou blindage, et un diélectrique solide placé entre les deux conducteurs. Le diélectrique est introduit sous forme liquide ou gazeuse entre les deux conducteurs, de préférence sous pression, et la température du diélectrique est abaissée au-dessous de sa température de congélation afin qu'il se solidifie du conducteur interne vers le conducteur externe. Un dispositif permet la réduction de la pression en cas de vaporisation trop rapide de la matière diélectrique. Application aux conducteurs utilisés dans les applications supraconductrices.
