Abstract

L'invention a trait au domaine des colorants. Elle concerne de nouvelles anthraquinones substituées sur l'azote dont le substituant est au moins partiellement cyclique, cyclohexylique ou aromatique; il s'agit de substances pléochroïques qui forment des combinaisons hôte reçu-hôte receveur avec des cristaux liquides nématiques anisotropes diélectriquement positifs. Ces combinaisons sont intéressantes à appliquer à des dispositifs électro-optiques d'affichage.
