a. L'invention concerne l'emploi de mélanges nématiques en cristaux liquides dans des dispositifs électro-optiques basés sur l'effet quest-host. b. L'invention se caractérise par l'adjonction de colorants présentant une stabilité chimique et physique élevée, et un dichroïsme accentué dans le spectre visible, à la matrice formée de substances nématiques en cristaux liquides. c. Reproduction colorée de chiffres, dessins et images.
