Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif pour représenter des images claires sur un fond sombre. Ce dispositif est constitué par un polariseur linéaire 1, une plaque de support avant 2, une plaque de support arrière 3, une plaque fluorescente 4 et une feuille d'absorption 5, ainsi qu'un cadre formant entretoise 8 formant avec les deux plaques de support une chambre pour une couche de cristal liquide 9 qui contient au moins une substance colorante pléochroïque. Application notamment aux dispositifs d'affichage électro-optiques, notamment pour bracelets-montres.
