Abstract
Pour empêcher l'altération d'un joint verre-métal dans une pile 10 ayant une anode au lithium 16, ou protège la surface intérieure exposée du verre 13 par une couche 15 d'un oxyde métallique ou d'une matière polymère inerte diélectrique telle qu'un fluorocarbure ou d'une polyoléfine stable en présence de lithium et des autres composants de la pile; on peut appliquer l'oxyde métallique sous forme d'une poudre dans un support liquide volatil et chauffer ensuite le verre et l'oxyde métallique pour provoquer l'adhésion de l'oxyde métallique au verre et chasser le support liquide. L'invention s'applique à des piles électrochimiques au lithium fermées hermétiquement par des joints verte-métal.
