Abstract

Structure de scellement pour pile primaire ou secondaire et son procédé de fabrication. Elle comprend un collier en verre 3 réuni par fusion avec une tige métallique intérieure 1, électriquement reliée à une anode, et avec un organe métallique extérieur 2, la quantité de métal ou composé métallique qui passe par fusion de la tige 1 dans le verre sur une profondeur d'environ 10 mu à partir de l'interface étant maintenue en deça de 5 % du poids de la couche de verre couvrant cette épaisseur. A cette fin, on s'abstient d'oxyder la tige métallique avant assemblage. On interpose entre elle et les organes métalliques à réunir un collier de verre pré-fritté, qu'on chauffe pour le fondre sous atmosphère non oxydante et qu'on refroidit ensuite graduellement Application générale aux piles scellées au verre.
