Abstract

L'invention concerne l'industrie chimique et électrique. Pour former un matériau de contact électrique, on soumet à une oxydation interne un alliage d'argent qui est une solution solide contenant 3 à 11 % en poids d'étain et d'un ou plusieurs autres éléments métalliques en solution solide, on fait diffuser dans la matrice d'argent 0,1 à 5 % en poids de métaux avec une température de décomposition et de sublimation inférieure au point de fusion de l'argent puis on soumet le matériau à une oxydation interne Application notamment aux contacts électriques présentant une résistance de contact améliorée.
