Abstract

Une telle vanne est reliée par un orifice d'entrée 30 à un maître-cylindre et par un orifice de sortie 42 aux cylindres de frein des roues arrière d'un véhicule. Le passage entre ces deux orifices peut être étranglé par un élément mobile sous forme d'un piston 80 qui coopère avec une coupelle en élastomère 102 pour limiter la pression de freinage des roues arrière. Cet étranglement est produit seulement quand le véhicule est vide ou peu chargé, ce qui est détecté au freinage par le déplacement, sous l'effet de la décélération, d'une masselotte sous forme d'une bille 60 qui peut empêcher ou libérer le mouvement du piston 80.
