Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé perfectionné pour inhiber la formation de conditions ou de composés explosifs dans un mélanges résultant de la mise en contact de solutions aqueuses concentrées d'un sel d'argent ammoniacal et d'un alcali fort. Selon l'invention, ledit procédé consiste à incorporer une quantité efficace d'un inhibiteur d'explosion comprenant un polyalcool en C4 -C6 , que l'on mélange soit 1 avec ladite solution aqueuse concentrée de sel d'argent ammoniacal conjointement avec suffisamment d'ions ammonium étrangers pour stabiliser ledit inhibiteur d'explosion dans ladite solution, soit 2 avec ladite solution aqueuse concentrée d'alcali fort, soit 3 avec les deux solutions 1 et 2, avant la formation dudit mélange. Application : dépôt non électrolytique de films réfléchissants d'argent métallique.
