Abstract

Un método mejorado para inhibir la formación de condiciones o compuestos explosivos en una mezcla que resulta del contacto de (1) una solución acuosa concentrada de una sal de plata amoniacal y (2) una solución acuosa concentrada de un álcali fuerte, que consiste en proporcionar una cantidad efectiva de un inhibidor de explosión que consiste en un alcohol polihídrico que tiene de 4 a 6 átomos de carbono en al menos una de dichas soluciones acuosas concentradas (1) o (2).
