Abstract

Séparateur filtrant, à poches ou à tubes, assurant automatiquement l'évacuation de l'excédent de poussières qui ne peuvent plus être entraînées par le courant de fumée à filtrer par suite du colmatage du tambour séparateur. Un tambour rotatif perforé disposé sur toute la longueur du carter formant trémie collectrice de poussières et à la partie inférieure de cette trémie est traversé par la fumée à traiter; la rotation du tambour démarre automatiquement quand sa résistance au passage du courant à filtrer est maximale, et s'arrête lorsque cette résistance est minimale. Ce séparateur convient tout particulièrement pour des fumées contenant des particules solides à forte adhésivité.
