Abstract

Procédé et installation pour l'utilisation de la chaleur sensible du coke au refroidissement du coke et au préchauffage du charbon à coke. Un gaz caloporteur passant successivement dans l'étage de refroidissement et dans l'étage de préchauffage, la batterie de fours à coke est couplée par l'intermédiaire de l'étage de refroidissement du coke à l'étage de préchauffage du charbon, ou seulement ces deux étages entre eux, au moyen d'un gaz de fumée ne subissant pas de traitement préalable et réagissant dans l'étage de refroidissement du coke pour donner du gaz pauvre, ou bien au moyen d'un gaz combustible se comportant comme inerte vis-à-vis du coke ardent et jouant le rôle de gaz caloporteur. Utilisations : cokeries.
