Abstract

L'invention concerne un projecteur pour véhicule automobile, à ouverture rectangulaire, du type comportant un réflecteur dans l'axe duquel sont disposées une source lumineuse d'éclairage de croisement coopérant avec des moyens de coupure, et une source d'éclairage de route, une joue horizontale supérieure et une joue horizontale inférieure intersectant le réflecteur pour délimiter l'ouverture rectangulaire du projecteur. Elle est caractérisée en ce que la joue supérieure est sensiblement plus proche de l'axe optique que la joue inférieure, de telle sorte que pour une hauteur totale du projecteur inchangée la zone du miroir fournissant l'éclairage de croisement soit diminuée. Elle permet un compromis optimal pour l'éclairage de route et de croisement.
