  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 遮蔽部材と共動するすれちがい照明用光源と走
    行照明用光源とが、焦点を通る光軸上に位置する
    と反射鏡と、前照灯の矩形開口を限定するために
    反射鏡と交わる上部水平壁とを有する形式の矩形
    開口形の自動車前照灯において、 上部水平壁と光軸との距離をｈ１、下部水平壁
    と光軸との距離をｈ２とすると、上部水平壁と下
    部水平壁間の全高ｈ１＋ｈ２は一定のまま、各距
    離ｈ１，ｈ２が １４ｈ２＜ｈ１＜３４ｈ２ を満足するように、上部水平壁を下部水平壁より
    光軸に対して近くに位置せしめたことを特徴とす
    る矩形開口部を有する自動車前照灯。
