Abstract
Connecteur à tampon interfacial en élastomère pour conducteurs optiques. Il comprend un boîtier constitué de deux corps 1 et 1', portant des moyens de fixation et de serrage axial de l'un contre l'autre. Chaque corps 1, 1', reçoit un canon 2, 2', retenu par une embase 3, 3', et dont le fût 4, 4', est dirigé vers le fût du canon monté sur l'autre corps. Dans chacun des fûts 4, 4', est immobilisée l'extrémité de l'un des conducteurs 8, 8', à connecter. Le connecteur comprend, de plus, un manchon 9, à l'intérieur duquel est disposé un tampon 11 en élastomère transparent d'indice de refraction voisin de celui des conducteurs 8, 8', appliqué contre le fût 4, et susceptible de se déformer dans un logement 10 interne au manchon 9, sous la pression de contact du fût 4, qui est conduit à pénétrer dans le manchon 9 sous l'action des moyens complémentaires de fixation des deux corps 1 et 1'. L'invention peut être utilisée pour la connexion de conducteurs optiques de tous types.
