Abstract

A door or window hinge system uses hinge members which can be adjusted to suit misalignment between the door or window which can be initially installed. The system uses two members (3, 4) for attachment to the door or window and two members (5, 6) for attachment to the frame. The latter includes a block (5) supporting the vertical hinge pin (17) which has horizontal dowels which fit into holes (12) in a support block (6). A screw is then fitted through a central hole (14, 15). The other members include an L-shaped bracket (3) onto which is mounted vertically the hinge member (3) with a sleeve (7) which fits over the hinge pin.
