Abstract

La pièce de vantail 1 se compose d'un support 3 et d'une paumelle femelle 4. La pièce de dormant 2 comprend également deux parties, à savoir une paumelle mâle 5 et un renfort 6. Dans l'exemple de réalisation, l'axe de montage 17, oscillant autour d'un axe horizontal, est associé à la paumelle mâle 5 et la paumelle femelle 4 porte un noeud correspond 7. La patte de fixation de cette paume présente en section, de manière connue, la forme d'une équerre ou d'un Z et le noeud 7 est fixé latéralement à l'aile libre de l'équerre ou à l'aile libre la plus courte du Z. Une armature 8 de section en U est montée en même temps que la pièce de vantail. Les deux parties de la pièce du dormant 2 et de la pièce de vantail, à savoir respectivement le renfort 6 et la paumelle mâle 5 et la paumelle femelle 4 et le support 3, peuvent être assemblées entre elles dans deux positions décalées de 180 degrés , de sorte que la ferrure peut être utilisée à volonté pour des vantaux ferrés à droite ou à gauche.
