Abstract

Pour fondre la barre 76, on emploie un générateur 68 produisant un jet de plasma 77 à basse température. Ce générateur 68 est monté dans le couvercle 67 de la chambre de fusion Le générateur 68 peut être incliné sous divers angles, de 0 à 70 degrés , l'axe du jet de plasma 77 pouvant en outre être décalé, tout en restant parallèle à lui-même, du centre du bout 74 à fondre de la barre 76 vers la périphérie, radialement. Ceci permet d'accroître le débit de granules et d'améliorer l'homogénéité des granules obtenus.
