Abstract

L'invention a pour objet un agent retardant la combustion pour polymères organiques synthetiques, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend du sulfure de zinc et une quantité d'une source organique d'halogène équivalente à 2 à 10 moles d'halogène par mole de sulfure de zinc, ladite source d'halogène etant choisie parmi les hydrocarbures halogénés et les esters halogénés des acides phosphoriques et phosphoreux, ledit halogene étant le chlore ou le brome.
